Marcia Frank Peri & Lisl Zach are 2005 NHPRC Electronic Records Research Fellows. Their research was on "Determining Current Practices for College and University Electronic Records Management Programs." They conducted a survey and follow-up interviews to produce a current snapshot of electronic records practice in university archives. They reported on their work at the 2006 NHPRC Electronic Records Research Fellowships Symposium http://www.ils.unc.edu/nhprcfellows/confer.htm. They also reported on their work at the FALL 2006 MARAC Meeting. They will also be reporting on their work at SAA in Chicago this fall.
Jean Deken at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center(SLAC) Archives and History Office has been working on a project to preserve the electronic records of a major international scientific project conducted with instruments at the SLAC. This was part of project jointly funded by the NHPRC and NARA's ERA Research Division. The Persistent Archives Testbed (PAT) Project http://www.sdsc.edu/PAT/.
