Is Social Media usage waning?
According to an essay in the NYTimes (August 2012) by James B. Stewart a lot of signals show that the global network effect goes into reverse.
FB dropping, Groupon, Zynga ... and MySpace is just a shadow of its former self.

It seems that the SM hypecycle has already reached its peak.(Gartner)
Now it should restart at the workplace with internal or corporate social media (dawn of Yammer ?);
