Open cultural heritage activities emerging (Open GLAM)
One of the first events to take place at this year’s Open Knowledge Conference (http://okcon.org) was an OpenGLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) Workshop for Swiss cultural institutions and the wider open culture and heritage community to develop an action plan for launching OpenGLAM activity in Switzerland. - See more at: http://openglam.org/blog/#sthash.GSVeeLeR.dpuf
Beat Estermann of Bern University of Applied Sciences presented his recommended study based on a survey about the readiness of Swiss galleries, libraries, archives and museums to promote their resources in open formats.
