eDiscovery Fundamentals & New Rules (Sedona education day)

On September 15, 2006 The Sedona Conference Institute will present "eDiscovery
Fundamentals & New Rules," a full-day Continuing Legal Education program at
Thorne Auditorium, Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago IL.

"eDiscovery Fundamentals and New Rules" is designed to introduce attorneys and
others to the basic concepts and practical implications of the new Federal Rules of
Civil Procedure concerning the discovery of electronically stored information and
related issues. The registration fee is $495 ($445 if two or more people from the same
firm register at the same time) and includes the Conference Notebook, continental

The keynote speaker will be Hon. Lee Rosenthal, chair of the U.S. Judicial Conference
Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. Additional faculty include membersa of The Sedona
Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production, widely
recognized by the courts and the bar as the most knowledgeable and well-balanced
assembly of attorneys and experts on electronic discovery and electronic records
management, and the group responsible for "The Sedona Principles Addressing
Electronic Document Production," the sourcebook most cited in state and federal
case law on electronic discovery. Among the topics to be covered are:
