MIKE 2.0 - Methodology for an Integrated Knowledge Environment
A nice podcast on the OCDQ-blog of Jim Harris.
Method for an Integrated Knowledge Environment (MIKE2.0) is an open source delivery framework for Enterprise Information Management, which provides a comprehensive methodology that can be applied across a number of different projects within the Information Management space. For more information, click on this link: openmethodology.org/wiki/What_is_MIKE2.0
The framework is quite generic and not only for open source freaks.
It will be interesting to see how it evolves beside of Cobit5, GARP and other Information Governance frameworks. I do not like the fuzzy term "knowledge" in the label as it has been compromised too much by corp. practice (information is enough).
Knowledge cannot be managed, you can only facilitate it or enable the environment to foster its sharing.
