Spezielle Gesetze zur Aufbewahrungspflicht von E-Mails und Records zwingen immer mehr Unternehmen, geschäftsrelevante Informationen elektronisch aufzubewahren. Die Vereon AG nimmt dies zum Anlass und veranstaltet am 3. und 4. Juni in Frankfurt und vom 24. bis 26. Juni in Zürich die Fachtagung „E-Mail und Records Management 2008“.

Der Rätselkrimi um Masonis verschwundene Akten im Tessin wird um ein absurdes Kapitel erweitert.

Aktenverwaltung bzw. Records Management wird offenbar noch nicht
unabhängig vom Medium verstanden. Die Vewaltung ist hier stehengeblieben.
Allen Ernstes wird hier behauptet, "dass diese Weisungen für Papierarchive verfasst worden seien, heute aber immer mehr Dokumente elektronisch gespeichert würden."
Wie alt sind diese Weisungen?
Immerhin existiert seit 2002 auch eine Geschäftsbücherverwaltung, die
elektronische Unterlagen als Evidenz anerkennt.
... eine unglaubliche Argumentation, um den Ermessensspielraum der Untersuchung zu erweitern.
Abgesehen von der falschen Begrifflichkeit, handelt es sich doch bei noch aktiven Unterlagen nicht um "Archive", sondern um Registraturen oder Ablagen (Records Mgmt);
richtige Archive wären nicht mehr manipulierbar gewesen .... (frühzeitige Vernichtung etc.)

Principles and Functional Requirements for Records in Electronic Office Environments: Call for Comments on Exposure Drafts of Three Modules

The International Council on Archives is pleased to publish for the information and comment of the international archives and records community, exposure drafts of three modules developed by an international project team working under the auspices of the ICA's Electronic Records Priority Area:

Module 1 - Overview and Statement of Principles

Module 2 - Guidelines and Functional Requirements for Electronic Records Management Systems

Module 3 - Guidelines and Functional Requirements for Records in Business Systems

Comments should be given by 31 March 2008
The drafts will then be revised, edited and translated for publication by the ICA in time for the ICA Congress in Malaysia in July.

Automatic records management based on business process management

Abstract:
"A records management method that automatically classifies records and manages the records based on the classification. The method incorporates processes for receiving a classification scheme for a record, receiving declaration of an asset as a record, automatically classifying the record according to the classification scheme, and workflow processes for vital records review and review for approval of disposition of records. Numerous method variations, as well as related systems and computer-readable media are also disclosed."

One of the inventors (Lauren Mayes) appears to be (have been) a member of staff of FileNet (acquired by IBM, 2004).

Elektronische Daten und Dokumente: Bundesrat verabschiedet Massnahmenpaket

Es sind u.a. folgende Massnahmen geplant:

- Einführung der elektronischen Geschäftsverwaltung in den Departementen und in der Bundeskanzlei bis Ende 2011 (GEVER-Programm Bund);

- Schrittweise Umstellung der Bundesrats- und Parlamentsgeschäfte auf eine durchgängig elektronische Basis bis Ende 2010 unter der Führung der Bundeskanzlei.
