Is the ERA project of NARA getting out of financial control?
During 2011 the Government Accountability Office has signalled several times that the ERA project (Electronic Records Archiving) - the largest ever started to preserve eRecords on a permanent basis - is getting out of budget.
The Electronic Records Archive project will cost 21% to 41% more than anticipated due to the lead agency's ineffective use of project management.
