Networking and IT Research and Development Program (NITRD) Supplement to the US President's Budget for FY 2009 was released

Once again, issues related to the preservation of electronic records are listed as priorities in the President's Budget. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is listed as one of the lead agencies for activities in this area.

New approaches, technologies, and tools for long-term preservation, curation, sustainability, accessibility, and survivability of significant electronic data and information collections (pg.10)
